State Department for Foreign Affairs Signs FY 2026/2027 Performance Contracts to Strengthen Results-Driven Diplomacy
The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Foreign Affairs, Dr. A. Korir Sing’Oei, has presided over the signing of the FY 2026/27 third-level cascaded Performance Contracts with Heads of Departments, Directorates, Divisions, and Units.
This exercise reinforces the State Department’s unwavering commitment to results-driven diplomacy, institutional accountability, and the measurable delivery of Kenya’s strategic foreign policy priorities.
The FY 2026/27 performance framework is designed to translate national priorities into tangible outcomes.
Key focus areas include anchoring stronger strategic partnerships, driving trade and investment, elevating consular services, optimizing the performance of Kenya’s diplomatic missions abroad, and ensuring the prudent utilization of public resources.
While addressing the senior officials, Dr. Sing’Oei called upon departmental heads to take full ownership of their respective commitments. He underscored that regular performance evaluations and timely corrective actions will be strictly enforced to guarantee absolute compliance and delivery on the department's mandate.
