Kenya Chile Discussions

Ambassador Josphat K. Maikara, the Deputy Director General, Americas and the Caribbean Directorate at the State Department for Foreign Affairs has today held a meeting with His Excellency Patricio Aguirre, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile.

The meeting discussed the upcoming Visit of Her Excellency Mrs. Claudia Sanhueza, Vice Minister of International Economic Relations of the Republic of Chile and the First meeting of the Joint Committee of Trade and Investment between Kenya and Chile scheduled to be held next month in Nairobi.

While pledging to strengthen the existing ties between the two Countries in various fields for the mutual benefit of the citizens of the two nations, they also discussed the Official Visit by the President of Chile scheduled for later in the year, 2025.
