Objectives of Kenya’s Global Governance and Multilateral Diplomacy
- Promote respect and upholding of the principles and purposes enshrined in the United Nations Charter and the African Union’s Constitutive Act;
- Foster collaboration in the setting and implementation of international norms and agenda through multilateralism;
- Promote consensus-building, respect for international law and rules-based multilateralism, and,
- Champion reforms of global institutions to enhance diversity and equitable representation, transparency and accountability in decision-making, and responsiveness to the needs of Member States.
