Cabinet Secretary welcomes Incoming Director General for the African Development Bank
Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Secretary, H.E Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, received letters of appointment from the Incoming Director General for Eastern Africa Regional Office and Country Manager for Kenya for the African Development Bank, Mr. Kennedy K. Mbekeani.
The Prime Cabinet Secretary welcomed Mbekeani to Kenya and assured him of the Government's support in the Bank's operations in the country.
The Director General affirmed the Bank's commitment to supporting Kenya's economic development agenda and expressed interest in leveraging special purpose vehicles' frameworks to spur economic growth in the country and the region.
The African Development Bank Group, founded in 1964 by the Organisation of African Unity, is a multilateral development finance institution.
