Amb. Galma M. Boru, MBS is a long serving senior civil servant currently serving as the Director General, Bilateral and Political Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Galma started his long career at the Ministry of Planning and National Development as an Economist II/Statistician II before moving to Foreign Affairs Office, where he has served in various capacities. 

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Galma has served as an Economist II in Nairobi, Charge d’ Affairs a.i at Kenyan Embassy in Rwanda, Deputy High Commissioner at the Kenya High Commission in Zambia, Deputy Head of Multilateral Organizations and Conferences Directorate, First Secretary and Deputy High Commissioner at Kenya High Commission in London, Acting Director of Administration/Deputy Director of Administration at Ministry Headquarters in Nairobi, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Kenyan Embassy in Washington DC, Kenyan Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Director in the Americas & Caribbean Directorate in Nairobi, and Director at the Foreign Service Academy in Nairobi.

The education profile of Ambassador Galma is remarkable. He has the following qualifications; Bachelors of Arts (Economics), University of Nairobi, Masters in International Relations and Postgraduate Diploma in Diplomacy, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and Certificate in Strategic and Public Policy Formulation from the National Defense College, Nairobi.
